Description
Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-19-42 with Letter and article Group of 3 (News Syndicate, 1942). Crisp shading and dramatic staging, hit the marks in this episode which appears to show Dragon Lady, by one of the legends of adventure cartooning. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21.5" x 5". Light toning, marginal pinholes, g/warping in last panel. Signed and inscribed in top border. Also included is a letter from Caniff to Seymour Lapan and article. Art is in Very Good condition.More Information: Edit: Description has been updated to include the appearance of Dragon Lady
