Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 4-4-35 (Chicago Tribune - N.Y. News Syndicate, 1935). Caniff's style is beginning to flower, his staging is getting stronger and his skilled manipulation of space is already apparent by this time. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 5.5" x 20". Mild toning, marginal pinholes, edge and corner wear. In otherwise Excellent condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
