Description
Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-20-1936 (Chicago Tribune/ NY Syndicate, 1936). Milton Caniff and his friend Noel Sickles virtually reinvented adventure strip cartooning with their bold use of shadows, black areas, and "impressionistic" forms. Ink and blue wash over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 20" x 5.5". Edge toning and handling wear, with pinholes in the top corners. In Very Good conditionFrom the Bobby G.
