Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-16-45 (News Syndicate, 1945). The dynamic staging and bold use of shadows that were hallmarks of Caniff's cartooning are showcased in this episode titled "Brown Bread Express". Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21.75" x 6.5". There is overall toning and pinholes in the top corners, and edge wear. Stat in first panel is discolored, otherwise art is in Excellent condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
