Martin Branner Winnie Winkle Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-18-56 (Chicago Tribune Syndicate, 1956). Santa Claus's envoy, Elmer the Elf, visits the big-eyed Winkle twins, Wendy and Billy, in this charming Christmas-season episode. The ink-over-graphite art, on Bristol board with shading film, has an image area of 20" x 6".
