    Marge Buell Little Lulu Comic Single Panel Cartoon Gag Original Art dated 4-27-35 (Saturday Evening Post, 1935). Only the 10th Little Lulu ever released! Marjorie Buell's irrepressible scamp first appeared in The Saturday Evening Post on 2-23-1935. In this single panel gag, Lulu shows that even a Subway ride can be fun if you simply try hard enough. It was created in ink and grey tone wash over graphite, and signed in the lower left of the 6.5" x 7" image area. Glass front framed to 14" x 14.5", with a chip in the bottom right corner of the frame. Previously sold in a Christie's auction, there is a sticker on the reverse of the frame. In Excellent condition.
