    Manuel Gonzales Mickey Mouse Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-17-39 (King Features Syndicate, 1939). Mickey and Goofy work out a complicated car problem in this vintage Sunday. Artist Manuel Gonzales took over the Sunday Mickey strip from Floyd Gottfredson in 1938, and worked on it until 1981 (with time out for military service, 1942-45). The art is in ink over graphite on three separate pieces of Bristol board (which have been affixed to a backing board with glue and staples), with an approximate combined image area of 27" x 17". In Very Good condition.
