Mac Raboy - Flash Gordon Sunday Comic Strip Original Art (King Features Syndicate, undated). Fine, delicate linework by a true master, this beautiful Flash Gordon Sunday is a fine example of Mac Raboy's superb draftsmanship. Raboy was the artist on Flash Gordon Sundays from 1948 until his death in 1967, so while the exact date of this piece is unknown (dated 11-10, no year is given), it can certainly be placed within that range. Rendered on heavy illustration board, the image area measures 19" x 13". There is paper tanning and warpage, obviously from water or humidity damage, and some evidence of mildew on the back; otherwise the condition is Good.
