Description
Leonard Starr Mary Perkins, On Stage Consecutive Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 2 (Chicago Tribune, 1974). A young actress is pressured by her director to begin filming her scenes with a much older actor in this pair of episodes from the comic strip series that explored thespian drama both on and off the stage. Titular character Mary Perkins herself appears in the first panel of the 12-4 daily. This group includes the 12-3 and 12-4, 1974 episodes. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol boards with approximate image areas of 16.5" x 5". Lightly toned around the edges, with pinholes in the margins, whiteout corrections, smudging, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.More information about Leonard Starr.
