Description

Ken Kling Joe and Asbestos Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-14 (Bell Syndicate, c. 1940s). Joe and Asbestos is a fairly obscure strip centered around horse racing that ended in 1926. The blank first panel may have been used for a logo, but it's more likely the strip ran with only three panels. Ink over graphite, on Bristol board with an image area of 16" x 5". Light soiling and handling wear, syndicate and year are missing, and there are some spots of soiling. In Very Good condition.
