Description

Johnny Hart B.C. Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-21-65 (Publishers Newspaper Syndicate, 1965). A tongue-tied solution to a cliffhanger problem. Anteaters made an early debut in B.C. and quickly became one of the strip's signature running gags, usually shown with their long tongue comically snagging unsuspecting ants. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 13". This Sunday has been scored and folded horizontally between each tier of panels for mailing purposes. Light toning, water staining and slight rippling across bottom edge, pinholes, smudging, and minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
From the Johnny Hart Collection.
