John Romita Sr. Spider-Man Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-21-78 (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1978). Possibly the most desirable Spider-Man Sunday we've offered to date, this was signed and inscribed by both Romita and Stan Lee the year it was published. It was a gift to Stan Goldberg, whom many most readily remember as an Archie artist but who had a tenure in the Marvel Bullpen as well, in fact he may have been the first person to color Spider-Man. The provenance aside, this is a superb example, with our hero in five panels and Kraven the Hunter and Doctor Doom both appearing. Also note that while the strip continues to this day, Romita only drew the Sundays from 1977-1981. Inscribed, "Best Wishes to Stan G -- John Romita '78" and "Hi Stan -- Excelsior!
