John Gee Highlights for Children May 1963 "The Timbertoes" Comic Strip Original Art (1963). April showers bring May flowers, and the Timbertoes are filling up baskets, making wreaths, and having a joyous time in this installment of John Gee's long-running comic strip, a favorite among young Highlights readers. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 12" x 16", matted and glass-front framed to 17" x 21.5". Slight toning, white-out correction/clean-up, and small foxing stains with some light frame wear. In Very Good condition.From the Forbes Collection.
