    John Celardo Tarzan #5157 Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-15-56(United Feature Syndicate, 1956). Celardo worked both sides of the street, as a pioneering Golden Age comic-book artist and then as a prominent figure in the upscale comic-strip industry. In this episode The Kings of the Jungle go head to head. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 19.25" x 5.5". Mild toning, missing test paste-ups with adhesive residue staining, pinholes, and corner creases. In Very Good condition.
