John Buscema Conan the Barbarian Sunday Comic Strip Original Art With Some Stat Panels dated 10-1-78 (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1978). The top tier of this Sunday Conan strip is original art by John Buscema, and is only the fourth of seven Sundays he produced. Conan is doing what he does best, saving beautiful women in towers from evil wizards. This is part of "The Wizard's Daughter" arc, featuring nice images of Conan, the wizard Sudro, and his daughter, Norda, drawn by one of Conan's premiere illustrators. The top tier is rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 20" x 4.25". Second panel is affixed to the first with tape on the back. Please note: the bottom two tiers are all photostats with ink and whiteout on top of paste ups with an image area of 20" x 9". Light toning, glue residue on paste-ups, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial marks, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
From a John Buscema Family Collection.

More Information: NOTE: Only the top two panels (i.e. Top tier) are original art. The logo and bottom two tiers are all 100% stat paste-ups.
