Description
Joe Kubert Tales of the Green Beret Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-27-66 (NEA, 1966). By the early sixties, Joe Kubert had established himself as DC Comic's best war artist, so it was only natural that he was asked to draw a comic strip based on Robin Moore's bestselling book The Green Berets. The image area of this ink over graphite on Bristol board daily measures approximately 15" x 4.5". There is some residue from a pasted on printer's note in the left border.
