Jimmy Hatlo They'll Do It Every Time Daily Single-Panel Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-19-36 (King Features Syndicate, 1936). Quirky real-life behavior is a great inspiration to the comics. No cartoonist has captured the quirks better than Hatlo, whose They'll Do It Every Time is a classic of creepy-but-humorous misconduct. This splendid episode highlights an obnoxious household and its effects upon the neighborhood. Inscribed to Eugene Olsen, a prominent collector. A set of newspaper clippings (attached to reverse) offers a profile of Hatlo. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 12.5" x 10", framed to 16.5" x 13.5". Faint toning. Excellent condition.
