Jim Davis Garfield Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-22-79 (United Feature Syndicate, 1979). Garfield can really talk! Well, he can with the help of a human friend, that is! This early daily strip, from just the second year of Garfield before the orange tabby became bipedal, features Lyman, Odie's original owner and one of the strip's original main characters, in the final panel, revealing the source of Garfield's miraculous speech. Rendered in ink and Zipatone over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 4". In Excellent condition.
