Description

Jack Rickard - Pauline McPeril Sunday Comic Strip Original Art, Group of 5 (Publishers Newspaper Syndicate, 1966-67). Jack Rickard and Mell Lazarus (signing his name as Fulton), created the Pauline McPeril in 1966 as a parody of the silent film episodic serial, "The Perils of Pauline," considered the most famous suspense serial in cinema history. Here are five Sundays, dated 8-7-66, 8-21-66, 9-4-66, 10-23-66, and 1-1-67. Look for cameos by Peter Lorre, Sydney Greenstreet, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Woody Allen, and Alfred E. Neuman. The image area of each strip measures 23" x 15". There are some tape stains on the extreme edges the strips (well outside of the image area), and one of the strips is missing the title logo, otherwise they average in Excellent condition.
