Irwin Hasen Dondi Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-9-70 (Chicago Tribune, 1970). A tale of two boys plays out in this strip -- Dondi, safe at home as Mr. Strand visits Mrs. McGowan and brings him chocolates, contrasted with another boy shivering in the cold, wondering if he's been forgotten forever. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.5" x 5". Toning, smudging, production oil staining, glue residue staining staining due to missing art paste-up, piece of masking tape over art paste-up in final panel, marginal pinholes, whiteout touch-ups, and handling wear.
