Harold Knerr The Katzenjammer Kids and Dinglehoofer und his Dog Adolph Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-11-35 (King Features Syndicate, 1935). Two-in-one belly-laughs, here, with a prime-period Katzenjammers and its conjoined slapstick feature, Dinglehoofer. Above, Dinglehoofer's dog re-enacts a "Three Little Pigs" scenario, casting himself as the Big Bad Wolf. Below, those mischievous Katzenjammer lads pull off a bit of grand larceny on behalf of the Captain. The Dinglehoffer logotype is a tipped-in pre-print. Ink over graphite on conjoined slabs of Bristol board. Image area, 16.25" x 21". Toning and handling wear commensurate with age. Very Good condition.
