Hal Foster Tarzan Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-6-32 (United Feature Syndicate, 1932). Tarzan's Sunday episodes started in 1931, making this one of the very early Sundays by Hal Foster. Heritage Auctions has sold this once before from the Al Williamson Collection for $17,925.00. "The Menacing Stream" is from near the end of the 7-week "Into The Primeval Swamp" story arc, and just two weeks before the start of the long-running multi-part "Egyptian Saga" (which ran until 1934).Created in ink with white paint highlights over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 26.5". The logo is a replacement stat. It seems that there was a change in the black panther in the last panel during production that is not reflected on this page. Signed in the last panel. The toned board has some corner wear, creases in the top and bottom, and is in Very Good condition.
