Description
Hal Foster Prince Valiant Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-26-67 (King Features Syndicate, 1967). Here's a superb example of Hal Foster's superior draftsmanship, featuring Prince Valiant in almost every panel! The artwork, fine-lined and intricate as one would expect from a vintage Foster Sunday, is in ink over graphite on Bristol board. The top panel tier was cut from the page and rejoined with tape. This episode has an image area of 22.75" x 34". All text is paste-up. There is light handling/edge wear, with corner bends. Rippling in the upper right corner of the plate.
