Description

Gray Morrow Flash Gordon Daily Comic Strips Original Art dated 6-3-91/6-4-91 (King Features Syndicate, 1991). Flash makes a daring dive onto a giant Butterfly in these two episodes from the story arc "Princess Simila". This Monday-Tuesday combo of dailies was produced with both days on the same board. Gray Morrow had just taken over as the artist on the series at this point, and Bruce Jones was still supplying the scripts. Rendered in Morrow's fine-line crisp style in ink and Zipatone over graphite on bright white TSR "Comics Module" Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 11". There is a 1" rip in the left margin right up to the image area. There is also a missing text correction paste-up in Panel 2, and a small stain in Panel 4. In Excellent condition overall.
