Gluyas Williams New Yorker Magazine Comic Strip Illustration Original Art (New Yorker, c. 1940). "Club Life In America - The Little Stagers Put On a Comedy of Manners" A beautifully designed back-stage drawing, ink and blue pencil over graphite on Bristol board, by the famed New Yorker cartoonist. It has an image area of 10" x 13", and has been signed and inscribed "For Art Wood with the best wishes of Gluyas Williams" in the upper left. There is some very light staining at the bottom of the page, otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition. From A Collection of Great Cartoonists and Illustrators.
