    Gil Kane Starhawks Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-28-79 (United Features Syndicate, 1979). Writer Ron Goulart and artist Gil Kane bring us this celestial page from the the Starhawks comic strip, dated May 28, 1979. Kane was reaching his stride, using the marker technique he perfected in the last several decades of his career. The overall art size is 12" x 17.5" with a 10" x 16" image area. The work is exceptionally clean and bright, with a small text correction in Panel 3. Marker over graphite on Bristol board, it is in Excellent condition.
