Home from the New Year party with her silly-acting husband, the wife tells the sitter: "I hope [the children] didn't act silly or anything." Classically breezy slice-of-life business from Clark's long-running feature. Ink and wax pencil on Coquille board. Image area, 8 x 10". Very Good condition, with light smudging and handling wear.
