George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-23-19 (King Features Syndicate, 1919). This masterpiece of early comic art is sure to be a welcome addition to any strip collector's collection. George Herriman drew things as no other comic strip artist could -- his panel arrangements and striking patterns created a unique, whimsical universe, one that for many aficionados is unmatched in the virtuosity of its graphic vision. Drawn in ink on Bristol board, this masterwork featuring Krazy Kat and Joe Stork has an approximate image area of 17" x 19". Aside from some small areas of foxing, some areas of light aging or staining in the panels, and a three-inch tear at the lower right, it's in Very Good condition.
