Description
George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-2-41 (King Features Syndicate, 1941). In this 1941 Sunday, the brick usually seen being thrown by Ignatz at Krazy becomes a character on its own! A lovely and surreal Sunday featuring Ignatz, Offisa Pupp, and Krazy Kat is always a welcome find, and we're happy to have "stumbled" onto this page, drawn in ink over graphite on a sheet of Bristol board. The image area is practically drowning in black ink -- look at all those cross-hatch lines in the large concluding panel! The image area measures 14.5" x 22.25", and the condition is Very Good, with handling wear and stains in the outer borders.More information about George Herriman. See also: Herriman, George Artist.
