Description
George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-5-19 (King Features Syndicate, 1919). Happy New Year! Mr. Stork makes a cameo because, as the official "Stork", he was responsible for delivering Baby New Year. However, the passage of the years is enough to drive Krazy Kat to drink! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 20". Signed in Panel 11. Presstype lettering has been added to the bottom margin, incorrectly dating the piece as 1-8-1919.
