Description

George Herriman Krazy Kat Early Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-6-16 (King Features Syndicate, 1916). To the chagrin of Offissa Pupp, Ignatz is saved from a cruel fate by Krazy in this super early Sunday full-page strip, only the 16th Sunday published. The Krazy Kat strip began in 1911 as part of a daily called The Dingbat Family, aka The Family Upstairs, and was spun off as its own strip in 1913. The art has an approximate image area of 18" x 21.5", and other than some paper tanning and some minor water damage to the lower part of the page, it's in Very Good condition.
