George Crenshaw - Nubbins Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 5-24-61 (King Features Syndicate, 1961). Nubbin's exploits were expertly written and drawn by George Crenshaw, a cartoonist with a wealth of experience in animation, comic books and comic strips. A former Disney animator, George worked on "Fantasia," "Pinocchio," and Donald Duck shorts. He worked for years as a ghost cartoonist for Hank Ketcham. As a comic book artist, he worked on many Dell titles featuring Woody Woodpecker, Disney characters, Bugs Bunny, and others. He is the creator of Belvedere, and many other syndicated comic strips and panel features. The image area of this daily measures 19" x 5.5". Some yellowing around the minimal zipatone usage, and a couple of tiny stains, otherwise the art is in Very Good condition.
