Gene Hazelton The Flintstones Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-22-64 (McNaught Syndicate, 1964). With the cartoon killing it in Prime Time television ratings, this comic strip served as a marketing tool/reminder for fans to tune in. Here, Fred is taking Pebbles and Wilma ice skating in the park, but the rangers have to perform a weight test on the ice before Fred's allowed on! It's another Gene Hazelton rib-tickler Sunday, with appearances by three great dinosaurs and a Sabre-tooth cat. The art is in graphite and Zipatone over blue pencil and graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate oversized image area of 24" x 17.25", Plexiglas front framed to an overall size of 34.5" x 27.5". In Excellent condition.
