    Description

Gene Hazelton The Flintstones Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-14-69 (McNaught Syndicate, 1969). A classic 1960s comic strip featuring Fred, Barney, and Wilma. If you are too young to remember, that is a telephone booth in the last panel. We had those in the stone age. Gene Hazelton (1919 - 2005) produced this strip and it bears his stamp on the backside. Hazelton was the head of Hanna-Barbera Comic Strips from 1961 into the 1980s. He was an animator and character designer, and he worked at Disney Studios, Warner Brothers, MGM, as well as H-B.
This daily is produced in ink over graphite on Craftint board with an image area of 20.75" x 6.25". There is a touch of color on the baseball players on the TV. The strip has a production oil stain in the lower image area of panel two. It is in Very Good condition.
