Gary Larson The Far Side Daily Comic Strip Gag Panel Original Art dated 4-7-83 (Chronicle Features, 1983). "First pants, THEN your shoes" Someone is having "one of those mornings". Larson's wonderful weirdness brightened every reader's mornings from 1979 to 1995. Any and all original art from this series is considered rare, and well-sought after by his fans. This piece is one of the few that were exhibited and sold in the 1984 Jane Haslem Gallery showing. There is a signed Letter of Appraisal from that showing on the reverse on the frame, listing this piece and three others. The original asking-price of only $200 would be a huge bargain these days, as a strip from 1983 recently sold for over $30,000 at a Heritage auction. Created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6.25" x 8". Glass front framed to 13.25" x 16.25". In Excellent condition.

More Information: EDIT: Added information regarding Letter of Appraisal from original 1984 showing/sale.
