Garry Trudeau Doonesbury Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-16-71 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1971). This highly desirable, vintage Sunday strip, starring Mike Doonesbury and Bernie, his mad-scientist college lab partner, centers on the epic struggles of... one-celled organisms!? This ink and whiteout over graphite on three pieces of conjoined Bristol board Sunday has an image area of 18.75" x 12.75", framed to an overall 23" x 17.25". There is very light overall toning, and a few small spots of glue residue in the title panel from a pasted on logo. In otherwise Excellent condition.
