Description

Garry Trudeau Doonesbury Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-5-78 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1978). Barbara Anne Boopstein or "Boopsie", on an Elvis-quest, meets a fan from down-under at Graceland, who has traveled from Australia to extol the virtues of Elvis' song "Strangers in the Night", which has changed her life... (Elvis didn't sing "strangers in the Night")! A delightful daily from the eighties -- "the King lives." The image area of this ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board daily measures 14.5" x 4.5", matted and glass-front framed to an overall 19.25" x 10.25". Lightly toned, with minimal discoloration to the Zipatone. In Excellent condition.
