Garry Trudeau Doonesbury Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-25-80 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1980). Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Garry Trudeau has been documenting the life stories of his Doonesbury characters since October 26, 1970, and this daily from the Reagan-era hails from a peak period in the strip's run. This piece, featuring Mike Doonesbury, Mark Slackmeyer, and B.D. as they discuss "The Great Communicator," has an image area of 14.5" x 4.5". Aside from being some light staining due to being glued to a backing board, the art is in Very Good condition. Inscribed and signed in its lower margin.
