Garry Trudeau Doonesbury Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-15-73 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1973). The joke in this episode centers on comparing Russian-born poet Yuri Entin to US-born poet Rod McKuen. Both were also composers and songwriters. This strip is personalized and signed as a gift to Rod McKuen, just after its publication. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 5". Slight tanning and a couple of spots. It was previously folded between the panels, and is nicely glass front framed to 18.5" x 9". In Very Good condition. From the Estate of Rod McKuen.
