Recurring character Uncle Duke, an amoral scam artist originally modeled after maverick journalist Hunter S. Thompson, hatches a plot to sell the television rights to a bogus survival story. A bizarre interlude from the influential satire strip. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board. The image area is 14.5" x 5". Autographed/inscribed at lower margin. Accompanied by a formal certificate of authenticity. Excellent condition.
