Fred Thomas Long Shots Daily Comic Strip Original Art Track-and-Field Themed Group of 20 (Hall Syndicate Inc., c. late 1960s). Fred Thomas' sports lampoon strip strikes some shots at track and field, and surfing in these dailies from the late 1960s. Produced in ink and white-out over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of approximately 18" x 5", the logo for each strip is a printed paste-up, and they have begun to discolor, with a few becoming detached. There is minor toning and edge wear; otherwise, they average Excellent condition. As a bonus, also included with this group is a set of photocopies of an unpublished Fred Thomas tryout strip titled Poor George.
