Description
Fred Thomas Long Shots Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 16 (Hall Syndicate Inc., c. 1960s). Thomas' sports-themed gags are always delightful, especially when he turns his prolific pen in the direction of organized sports and the sometimes commercial motivation behind the games. Water-related strips in this group poke fun at ice fishing, rowing, water polo, summer camp, sailing, and swimming. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 18" x 5".
