DescriptionFrank Robbins Scorchy Smith Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-19 (Associated Press Syndicate, Year Unknown). Robbins began working on this strip in 1939 and continued until March of 1944, when he began drawing Johnny Hazard for King Features Syndicate. This ink over graphite on Strathmore Bristol board daily has an image area of 16" x 4". In Very Good condition, with overall toning, pinholes, and light soiling. There is a vertical crease through the first panel, and as a bonus, there are four great head sketches, done in pencil, on the back!
