Mystery and intrigue aboard a passenger train -- a splendid example of the resonant Victorian atmosphere achieved on Holmes from the versatile Giacoia, better known for his extensive work on heroic comic books of the 1940s-1960s. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 16" x 4.75". Moderate toning and some conspicuous adhesive staining. Very Good condition.
