Description
Floyd Gottfredson Mickey Mouse Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-17-63 (King Features Syndicate, 1963). That Goofy -- he's like no other! This sweet daily, which also featured Minnie Mouse, is in ink over graphite with Zipatone shading film on Bristol board with an image area of 18" x 5". It is signed and inscribed to Disney Legend Carson Van Osten, who worked beside Floyd for a number of years; inscription reads "Very Best to Carson -- Thanks for the great Goofy bomb strip -- Floyd Gottfredson. This piece comes directly from the personal files of Carson Van Osten (1945 - 2015). It's framed with glass, for an overall size of 23.25" x 8.25".
