Description

Ernie Chan Conan Sunday Comic Strip Original Art, dated 5-6-79 (King Features, 1979). Ernie Chan (earlier named Chua) began his career as an assistant to Tony DeZuniga, during Tony's work on romance features, and Ernie was the third Filipino talent to work at DC, but he soon moved over to Marvel where he established himself as a fan-favorite with his inking over John Buscema's pencils on Conan. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with panels that have been affixed to another board with an image area of 21" x 9.5". Marginal production notes, and light edge wear. Art is in Excellent condition.
