Ernie Bushmiller Fritzi Ritz Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-23-39 (United Features Syndicate, 1939). In this Sunday episode we learn that trees and sunshine do not mix. Fritzi Ritz has always been a choice example of Bushmiller's easygoing wit and impeccable draftsmanship. Noteworthy that the title logo is itself an original job of hand-lettering. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, measuring approximately 20.75" x 13.25". Excellent condition, with graduated marginal toning and borderline handling wear.From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
