Eric Stanton Tin Hats Wartime Daily Comic Strip Panel dated 10-9-43 Original Art (Bell Syndicate, 1943). "He says we COULDN'T have licked 'em-- because the Tokyo broadcast says THEY just annihilated US again! Tin Hats bears a distinct kinship to the World War II documentarylike cartoons of Bill Mauldin, and to Milton Caniff's sustained show of humorous respect for foot-soldiers in Male Call. Ink and crayon over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 6.5" x 7.5". Lightly toned/scuffed and in Very Good condition.
