Description

Edwina Dumm Tippie Sunday Comic Strips Original Art Group of 2 (George Matthew Adams Service, 1943). Though titled Tippie, Cap Stubbs was always there in the thick of the action with his ever-mischievous terrier companion. Together, their antics deliver a heartwarming mix of boyhood curiosity and canine chaos, the kind of affectionate slice-of-life charm rarely found in today's comics. These two Sunday gems from 2-21 and 3-7 of 1943, are pure Tippie-era delight, brimming with old-school whimsy and neighborhood nostalgia. Ink over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 22.25" x 14.5". Light toning, minor foxing, moisture staining on top right edges of 3-7 strip, pinholes, discolored tape, smudging/soiling, minor staining, whiteout corrections/highlights, corner creasing, and edge/handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.
