E. C. Segar Popeye Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 4-23 (King Features Syndicate, 1930s) .Olive Oyl laughs heartily at Popeye's plans to build an Ark, in a typically offbeat episode of this beloved strip. This original has an image area of 20.5" x 5.5". There is minor surface soiling, some water spots in several panels, and a light crease in the last panel; otherwise, the art is in Good condition. This daily is signed in the top margin by Tom Sims, who wrote the strip after E. C. Segar's passing.
